If you have a private group that is interested in an outdoor adventure and needs a guide, Ranger Outfitters can provide your adventure at great prices on the dates that you need.

Ranger Outfitters offers adventure packages that affords you the opportunity to have a licensed New York outdoor guide lead the way.  The Ranger will take care of all trip planning and gear that you will need.  Each packet price covers from one to six people.  Below are details of available adventure packages.

Overnight adventures are great for people who want to get out on the trail and have that evening at the fire with good food and atmosphere.  Our overnight adventures encompass a day hike and a night by the fire.  A wonderful bonding experience for a parent/child or friends in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region.

Guided Adventures for the Novice to the Experienced Hiker


All Adventures include:

New York Licensed Guide
Water
Gear or Equipment
Snack (Fresh Fruit and trail mix or as indicated)
Meals

Groups of up to 10 people

Registration & fees must be received by Ranger Outfitters two weeks in advance to date of event.

Beginners to Advanced Hikers are welcome on hikes.

Seneca Trail Overnight-On Friday afternoon, start the Seneca Trail, spend a quiet evening with a camp fire and relax. Experience this 4 mile hike in the Sugar Hill area above Watkins Glen.  It's a beautiful hike that relaxes you and looses your anxieties.  When you are at the trail's end you'll wish for more.

Finger Lakes Trail Overnight - Arrive on an afternoon day and spend an evening next to a fireside relaxing.  The following day takes you on along the Finger Lakes Trail - Beautiful waterfalls, wild lakes and scenery.  The trail can be broken up into 3-mile segments to accommodate a mixture of hiking abilities.   If a member of your party wishes to only hike one portion of the trail, accommodations are made for them at the desired trail segment.

Finger Lakes National Forest - On Friday arrive at the FLNF for relaxing evening.  Then explore The North end on Saturday morning and the south end in the afternoon. A beautiful area with creeks and ponds.  An abundance of wildlife and nature brings the trail to life.  The north end of the trail is approx 4 miles long and the south end of the trail is approx 6 miles long.  If a member of your party wishes to only hike a the upper portion or the lower portion of the trail, they can relax at the base camp.
